自分の感情や行動を抑えること。また、動きを制限する器具や自由を制限する規則のことも指す。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
'show restraint' は自制心を持つことを示す。'safety restraint' はシートベルトなどの安全器具。'trade restraints' は貿易規制。'without restraint' は自由気ままに行うこと。
