'Reside in'은 격식 있고 공식적인 상황(문서 등)에서 많이 사용. 일상회화에서는 'live in' 사용. 'city', 'country', 'apartment' 등과 자주 결합하며, 비유적으로 문제의 원인을 설명할 때도 씀. 임시 체류에는 사용하지 않음.
