誰かや何かに似ていた、またはよく似ている状態だったこと。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「resembled」はややかたい表現で、完全に同じではなく、似ているだけを意味します。多くは名詞のあとに使われます（例：resembled her mother）。「looked like」よりもフォーマルで、見た目だけを指しません。
