Decirle a alguien que ha hecho algo mal, generalmente de manera formal o seria.

Principalmente formal; se usa mucho en contextos de trabajo o situaciones oficiales. Puedes 'reprimand' a alguien verbalmente o por escrito. Se asocia a figuras de autoridad regañando a subordinados. 'Regañar' es menos formal.
