संज्ञा या विषय से पहले ('related to विज्ञान') आता है। प्रायः औपचारिक या शैक्षणिक संदर्भ में प्रयुक्त होता है। संबंधों के लिए भी इस्तेमाल हो सकता है, पर आमतौर पर विषयगत संदर्भ में।
