Reflexão é a imagem que se vê num espelho ou numa superfície brilhante, ou o processo de pensar cuidadosamente sobre algo.

'Reflection' pode ser física (imagem em espelho) ou abstrata (pensamento profundo). Combinações frequentes: 'in the reflection', 'self-reflection', 'a moment of reflection'. Não confundir com 'refraction' (termo científico) nem com 'reflex' (ação automática).
