Definition

長方形は、4つの辺と4つの直角があり、向かい合う辺が平行で長さが等しい平面図形です。

数学や図形、デザインの分野でよく使います。「正方形」（すべての辺が同じ長さ）とは区別してください。「長方形を描く」「長方形の面積」などの表現があります。
