金属やプラスチックを切った後にできる、小さな突起や鋭い部分。触るとケガをすることがあるので、仕上げに取り除くことが多いです。

「バリ」は主に工場や手工業で使われ、仕上げ工程で取り除きます。「バリ取り」という作業もあります。日常会話ではあまり使いません。
