Definition

অত্যন্ত আনন্দ, উল্লাস বা পরমানন্দ বোধ। কখনো কখনো ধর্মীয় দৃষ্টিকোণ থেকে স্বর্গে উত্তোলন হওয়ার ঘটনাও বোঝায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Rapture' সাধারণত সাহিত্যিক বা ধর্মীয় প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। একে 'in rapture', 'with rapture', 'be filled with rapture' এর মতো বাক্যে পাওয়া যায়। খেয়াল রাখতে হবে সাধারণ কথোপকথনে কম ব্যবহৃত হয়।
