Definition

手を上にあげて、発言したいときや質問・回答をしたいとき、または注目を集めたいときによく使います。

教室や会議でよく使われます。オンライン会議では「手を挙げる」ボタンもあります。たいてい単数形ですが、複数人なら複数形も使われます。

If you want to speak, please raise a hand.

発言したい場合は、**手を挙げて**ください。

The students all raise a hand when they know the answer.

生徒たちは答えがわかると皆**手を挙げます**。
