Ragging es hacer bromas pesadas o molestar a alguien, habitualmente a los nuevos estudiantes en la universidad. También puede referirse al acoso o a las novatadas.

Suele ser informal. En India y Reino Unido, 'ragging' se usa para hablar de novatadas universitarias. En EE. UU. es más frecuente 'hazing'. Puede ser leve (broma) o grave (acoso). Se usa mucho en contextos estudiantiles.
