誰かの知識や理解を確かめるために、連続して質問をすること。勉強だけでなく日常会話でも使われる。

「quizzing」は堅苦しくない場面から学校のような場まで使われます。「examine」より柔らかく、「友達をquizzingする」も自然です。

The teacher is quizzing the students about the lesson.
