주로 곡물이나 농산물 등 대량 상품의 무게를 잴 때 사용하는 단위로, 일반적으로 100킬로그램에 해당합니다.

‘퀸탈’은 일상 대화에서는 거의 사용되지 않고, 주로 농업·무역 분야에서 대량의 무게를 나타낼 때 쓰입니다. 대체로 100kg을 의미합니다.
