시끄럽거나 흥분된 분위기가 가라앉아 조용해지는 것. 누군가에게 조용히 하라고 할 때도 쓴다.

아이들이나 여러 명이 모인 상황에서 명령문이나 상태 설명 모두에 쓸 수 있다. '조용히 해'와 유사하지만 조금 더 정중하거나 집단적.
