보류하다대기시키다

Definition

어떤 일이나 결정을 잠시 멈추거나, 누군가를 계속 기다리게 하는 것.

전화상에서 상대를 잠시 기다리게 할 때나, 프로젝트ㆍ회의 등 잠정적으로 미룰 때 두루 사용함. 단순히 'hold'(잡다)와 다름.

Please put on hold the delivery until next week.

배송을 다음 주까지 **보류해 주세요**.

The project was put on hold due to lack of funds.
