自分自身や物をある場所や状況、参加から離れること。また、物を物理的に引き抜くことも指します。

「pull out of a project」は参加を辞退する、物を取り出す、運転中は道路へ出るときに使います。「withdraw」よりカジュアルです。「take out」とは少しニュアンスが異なります。
