プロウラーズとは、特に夜に静かに場所の周囲を歩き回り、盗みや悪事をたくらむ人や動物のことです。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
警告や警察の報告、ニュース記事でよく使われ、ややフォーマルです。複数形が一般的です。「report prowlers」「watch out for prowlers」などの表現があります。動物には普通使いませんが、盗みをする場合は例外です。
