指完全趴在地上，通常臉朝下，表示順從或極度疲勞。也可指極其虛弱或被壓倒。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
很正式，多用於文學或醫學，如“因悲傷而俯臥”或“俯伏以示順從”。口語極少用，勿與“前列腺”（prostate）混淆。
