何かが倒れないように物を使って支えたり立てかけたりすること。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

日常会話で使われる。たいてい「up」とセットで「propping up」となる。物理的な支えにのみ使用し、感情的なサポートには使わない。動作を表す動詞。
