比例是指整體中的一部分，通常以比率表示。也可以指不同事物之間的大小或數量關係。

“Proportion”用於數學（比率）、藝術設計（部份平衡）、形容相對數量。常見短語有“in proportion to”，“out of proportion”，“a large/small proportion”。不要與“portion”（部份、份量）混淆。
