"prod into" in Spanish
Definition
Empujar físicamente o animar con insistencia a alguien a hacer algo, especialmente cuando duda o no quiere hacerlo.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Es levemente informal. Se usa tanto de manera literal (empujar físicamente) como figurada (animar o insistir). Usualmente se dice "prod someone into doing something". No confundir con solo "prod", que puede ser más físico.
