王子は王様や女王様の息子、または王族の男性を指します。国によっては、支配者や貴族の称号でもあります。

一般的に王や女王の息子を指します。童話では若い勇敢な人物や恋愛の対象としても使われます。'king'（王）や 'princess'（王女）と混同しないように。
