战胜、赢得胜利或比其他人更有力量; 也可以指在某种情境中十分普遍或流行。

“Prevail” 较为正式或文学性，常用于如“正义将战胜”（胜利）、“传统依然盛行”（普遍）等表达。不适用于比赛（更常用“赢”）。常搭配 'over'（战胜）、'against'（反对）、'in the end'（最终）。
