대통령은 국가나 조직, 회사의 최고 책임자를 의미합니다. 주로 국가의 선출된 지도자나 회사의 대표를 뜻합니다.

‘대통령’은 주로 국가의 리더를, ‘회장’은 회사나 조직의 대표를 의미합니다. 군주나 총리와는 구분됩니다.
