Definition

প্রেরগেটিভ মানে এমন বিশেষ অধিকার বা ক্ষমতা, যা নির্দিষ্ট ব্যক্তি বা গোষ্ঠীর কাছে থাকে তাদের পদ বা মর্যাদার কারণে। সরকারী বা উচ্চ পদস্থ ব্যক্তিদের সঙ্গে এটি বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত সরকার, উচ্চ পদস্থ কর্মকর্তা, বা প্রতিষ্ঠানের ক্ষেত্রে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'the prerogatives of the president' বলতে প্রেসিডেন্টের নির্দিষ্ট অধিকার বোঝায়।
