যখন কোনো নির্দিষ্ট গোষ্ঠী, ধরণ বা পরিমাণ অন্যদের তুলনায় বেশি বা বেশি গুরুত্ব পায়। এটি সংখ্যা বা গুরুত্বের দিক থেকে প্রধানতা বোঝায়।
