宗教的な説教をしたり、相手が聞きたくないのに押し付けがましく道徳的な助言をすることを指します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
"Preaching to the choir" は既に賛成している人に説教すること。「Stop preaching」は説教くさくて嫌われる時に使われます。「Practice what you preach」は自分の言動と一致する行動を取る意味です。
