Usado tanto literalmente para líquidos ('pour into a glass') como figurativamente para grandes investimentos ou esforço ('pour into a project'). Não usar para esforços pequenos. Muitas vezes usado com valores ('poured thousands into...'). É comum em contextos formais e informais.
