人が事故や災害などのトラウマを経験した後に起こることや存在する状態を表す言葉。特に医学や心理学で使われます。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

医療や専門文書で使われることが多く、日常会話ではあまり使いません。「posttraumatic stress disorder（PTSD）」のように名詞の前で使われます。
