Definition

পোমেল হল জিনের সামনে গোল মাথা বা হাতল, যেখানে ধরে রাখা যায়, কিংবা তলোয়ারের হাতলের শেষ অংশের মুন্ডা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'পোমেল' সাধারণত ঘোড়ার জিন বা ঐতিহাসিক অস্ত্রের ক্ষেত্রে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'pummel' (পিটানো) শব্দের সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না। 'saddle pommel' মানে জিনের সামনের মাথা, 'sword pommel' মানে তলোয়ারের হাতলের মাথা।
