用手指或其他东西指向某个人或某个事物的动作。它也可以表示把注意力引向某事，或把某物对准目标。

通常指看得见的手势，如 'pointing at the screen'、'pointing to the door'。'Point at' 更强调用手指或物体直接指着；'point to' 也常表示“表明、说明”。在很多场合，用手指着别人可能显得不礼貌。
