Definition
Rellenar o tapar un agujero o abertura para que nada pase, generalmente insertando algo. Se usa mucho para detener fugas o bloqueos.

Expresión principalmente informal y física—se usa para bloquear tuberías, agujeros, fosas nasales, etc. Frecuente con líquidos o cosas que fluyen. Suele aparecer en pasado ('plugged up'). No confundir con 'plug in' (conectar energía) o 'unplug' (desconectar).
