Definition
「plucks」は、何かをすばやく引き抜く、あるいは楽器の弦を指で引いて音を出すことを表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
一本ずつ抜く動作（毛、花など）や、弦楽器の演奏時によく使います。楽器の場合は“pluck the strings”が一般的です。口語ではやや文学的な響きがあります。
