Definition

কষ্টকর, বিরক্তিকর বা বাধা থাকা সত্ত্বেও কোনো কিছু করা চালিয়ে যাওয়া। সাধারণত না হার মানার ভাব প্রকাশে ব্যবহৃত।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

অনানুষ্ঠানিক, বিশেষ করে ব্রিটিশ ইংরেজিতে প্রচলিত। কাজ, পড়া ইত্যাদির সাথে বেশি হয় ('plough on with studies')। সাধারণত অনুপ্রেরণা কম থাকলেও কাজ চালিয়ে যাওয়ার ইঙ্গিত দেয়।
