Definition

الاستمرار في فعل شيء حتى عندما يكون صعبًا أو مملًا أو تواجه عقبات. يُستخدم للتعبير عن عدم الاستسلام.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

تعبير غير رسمي ويكثر في الإنجليزية البريطانية. غالبًا يرتبط بالإصرار رغم التعب أو الملل، وغالبًا مع المهام أو الواجبات (مثل 'plough on with work'). أحيانًا يلمّح إلى الاستمرار رغم عدم الرغبة.
