Definition

정직하고 솔직하게 행동하여 거짓말이나 속임수를 쓰지 않는 것. 규칙을 어기지 않고 정당하게 행동하는 의미도 있다.

다소 비격식적이며, 솔직함이 필요한 상황—예를 들면 협상, 인터뷰 등—에서 자주 사용된다. 농담이나 속임수는 하지 말라는 의미.

Just play it straight when they ask about your past jobs.

이전 직업에 대해 물어볼 때 그냥 **정직하게 행동해**.
