Definition

여러 물건이 한곳에 쌓여 있는 상태를 말합니다. 동사로는 물건을 한데 모아 쌓다라는 의미도 있습니다.

실제로 보이는 사물에 많이 쓰입니다(예: 'a pile of clothes'). 'Stack'은 더 정돈된 느낌, 'pile'은 약간 어질러진 상태입니다. 동사로는 'pile up', 'pile into' 등과 같이 사용됩니다.
