Definition

「picked over」とは、たくさんある物の中からすでに他の人が選び終わって、欲しくないものや価値の低いものだけが残っている状態を指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

果物やセール品など、みんなに取られてあまり良いものが残っていない時によく使います。やや否定的でカジュアルな表現。人には使いません。「pick over」（丁寧に選ぶ）とは違います。
