「Picked over」表示一批東西已被他人挑選過，只剩下未被選中的或較差的部分。

常用於形容水果、剩菜、特價商品等已被挑揀過的東西，語氣較負面，屬於口語，不能用於人。別與動詞片語“pick over”（仔細挑選）混淆。
