Definition

門は、生物の分類で界の下、綱の上に位置する大きなグループで、共通する特徴を持つ生物をまとめたものです。

「門」は日常会話ではほとんど使われず、生物学や学校教育など学術的な場面で使われます。植物や菌類では「界」や「綱」と異なる場合もあります。
