ある表現や文で言葉がどのように使われ、まとめられているか、あるいはその言い方やスタイル。

書き言葉や話し言葉だけでなく、音楽のフレージングにも使われます。「careful phrasing」は丁寧な言い回し、「awkward phrasing」は不自然な言い方を表します。
