해롭거나 불법적, 비도덕적인 행동, 특히 범죄를 저지르는 것.

주로 심각한 범죄나 악행을 말할 때 공식적으로 사용함. '범죄를 저지르다', '사기를 저지르다'와 같이 쓰이며, 긍정적인 행동에는 사용하지 않음.
