人々が自由時間に楽しみや気分転換のためにする活動。一般的に趣味や娯楽のこと。

「娯楽」「趣味」は複数形で使われることが多いです。「favorite pastimes」は「好きな趣味」などと訳せます。カジュアルな場面では「趣味」の方がよく使われます。

Reading books and gardening are popular pastimes.
