Definition

仕切りは、部屋などの空間を区切るもの（壁やパネルなど）です。また、物事をいくつかの部分に分ける行為も意味します。

「partition」はフォーマルな場で使われ、物理的な仕切りや歴史的な分割（例: インド分割）、パソコンのドライブ分割などに使います。食べ物や小さな物の分け方には使いません。
