牧師館パーソネージ

Definition

牧師館とは、教会の近くにある、牧師とその家族が住むために用意された家です。

やや古風な表現で、英国国教会やプロテスタント教会で使われます。カトリックの場合はあまり用いられず、「rectory」や「神父館」などの言葉が使われることが多いです。

The minister moved into the parsonage with his family.

牧師は家族と一緒に**牧師館**に引っ越した。
