Definition

फल या सब्ज़ी के छिलके की एक पतली परत जो छीलने पर निकलती है। 'Paring' शब्द का मतलब छोटी मात्रा में काटने की क्रिया भी हो सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

अक्सर रसोई में इस्तेमाल होता है, जैसे 'apple parings', 'potato parings' आदि। कभी-कभी मात्रा कम करने या चीज़ें सरल बनाने के अर्थ में भी ('paring down') आता है। इसे 'pairing' (जोड़ी बनाना) से न मिलाएँ।
