両親や家系など、血筋や出自を指す言葉です。家族のルーツやどこから来たかを表します。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主にフォーマルや公式文書、法律や歴史の分野で使われます。「unknown parentage」「mixed parentage」のような表現が一般的です。「parenthood」（親であること）とは違います。日常会話ではあまり使いません。
