Definition

ছাদ, বারান্দা, সেতু বা এই ধরনের স্থাপনার কিনারায় থাকা নিচু নিরাপত্তা দেওয়াল, যা পড়ে যাওয়া রোধ করে।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

মূলত ভবন, সেতু বা দুর্গের স্থাপত্যিক বা সামরিক প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহার হয়। "castle parapets" বা "bridge parapets" বলতে এই নিচু বাধা বোঝায়—এটি কখনোই পুরো উচ্চতার দেয়াল নয়।
