パネリストとは、イベントや会議、テレビ番組などでグループの一員として意見を述べたり議論したりするために選ばれた人です。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「パネリスト」は会議やディスカッションなど、専門知識や経験を持った発表者や招待者に使われます。「panel discussion（パネルディスカッション）」という表現でよく使います。聴衆には使いません。
