"pace up and down" in Japanese

Definition

小さな場所で何度も行ったり来たり歩くこと。たいてい不安やイライラ、深く考えているときに使われる。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

この表現はカジュアルで、緊張や不安のサインを示すときによく使われます。'nervously'などの言葉と一緒に使われます。普通の歩行には使いません。
